USDA to Provide Additional Direct Assistance to Farmers and Ranchers Impacted by the Coronavirus

The USDA just announced an additional $14 billion for agricultural producers who continue to face market disruptions and associated costs because of COVID-19. Signup for the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP 2) will begin September 21 and run through December 11, 2020.

Apply early, as funds will run out and are first-come-first-served. The program is administered through the Farm Service Agency (FSA). Contact them for assistance. Locate your county’s FSA office.
